Underground Engineering Surveys with SatLab Cygnus Handheld LiDAR Scanner

With a length of around 600 meters, this narrow space underground culvert was captured by one scan and four control points, within a point error of 2cm. Cygnus Handheld LiDAR is proving to be an ideal solution for underground engineering surveys.

According to the extreme environment of the engineering survey, we newly develop the solution function, adding absolute coordinate point control in the solution process, which will greatly improve the accuracy of the scanning results, will enable more underground engineering surveys to obtain better 3D data, and can break through more high-difficulty engineering surveys.
